Driver training plays a fundamental role in improving road safety. Through its various driving courses, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is dedicated to improving drivers' ability to handle the different situations they may encounter on the road every day.
 

Briefing/Theory

Introduction to the entire team and a brief explanation of the programme and its theoretical and technical aspects, particularly the characteristics of the exercises and the rules for entering and leaving the track.

Location: Racing School

Water Wall

Simulation of an emergency evasive manoeuvre at different speeds to improve vehicle control in everyday situations. The exercise includes two runs at different speeds.

Location: Drift Pad

Dynamic Control

The aim is to complete the circuit without touching the cones, driving through low-grip areas that simulate extreme conditions. The exercise includes one familiarisation lap and one timed lap to improve reflexes, agility and vehicle control.

Location: Cone Track

Skid Control

The exercise challenges participants to demonstrate their vehicle control by managing skids on circular trajectories. The aim is to improve control of the car when a loss of grip occurs.

Location: Drift Pad

Track Introduction

An on-track exercise designed to deepen your understanding of the circuit and its ideal racing lines.

The first lap will be completed alongside the instructor, followed by four laps behind the wheel, always under the instructor's supervision.
