KARTÓDROMO (KIA)

AN EXCITING GO-KART TRACK

Opened in 2010, Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve (KIA) is one of Europe’s largest go-kart tracks and represents a further important milestone in the global project of Algarve Motorsports Park.

The circuit can operate two tracks simultaneously, where one can find no shortage of official races, championship races and private competitions.

The Track

Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve (KIA) has the technical characteristics that qualify it to host top level Karting and Supermoto races. This go-kart track provides all the conditions for several purposes, such as official competitions, tests and presentations, private races or leisure kart rentals.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The track is 1,531m long and 8m wide and the main straight is approximately 160m long and 10m wide. The asphalt track meets all the requirements for hosting the most stringent competitions.

Its design is approved by the sports governing body Federação Internacional de Automobilismo and the track complies with all the rules of the Commission Internationale de Karting (CIK-FIA).
