IMPORTANT INFORMATION – FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
AUTÓDROMO INTERNACIONAL DO ALGARVE – March 28 to 30
ACCESS, TRANSPORT, AND PARKING
Arrive at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve with some time in advance. Also, account for the time to find the parking lot, secure a parking spot, and walk to your grandstand and seat. The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve has prepared several open-air parking lots where you can park your car or motorcycle. Check the attached map to identify the parking lot closest to your Grandstand.
The parking lots are between a 10 and 30-minute walk from the circuit, so we advise choosing the lot closest to your grandstand area to minimize walking time.
Car and motorcycle access and parking are free, so you do not need to purchase a parking pass. Please note that there is no organized transportation to the Circuit, so access must be made by car, motorcycle, or another private vehicle, parking in the designated areas around the venue as indicated on the map.
There is no organized transportation from the Parking Lots to the Grandstand areas, nor is there a transport system that circulates through the Circuit entrances.
SCHEDULE
Opening hours for Grandstands, VIP Tower, and Paddock access tunnel: 08:00 AM on all three event days.
Check the official SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP website for information on activity schedules and the detailed program (training and qualifying sessions, support races, press conferences, and special events, plus the latest news – content managed by DORNA/WSBK).
REDUCED MOBILITY
If you have purchased a ticket for the Main Grandstand and hold a Reduced Mobility parking pass, you will have access to reserved parking spaces.
There is no Reduced Mobility access in other grandstands for safety reasons, particularly in case of evacuation needs.
GRANDSTANDS AND ACCESS GATES
Check the attached map to locate the grandstands and access gates. The current system allows the following access:
- North, Lagos, Portimão, and Portimão 2 Grandstands: Gate 4
- Main Upper and Lower Grandstand: Gate M
- Paddock: Access through the tunnel (south of the AIA Store), only
Reduced Mobility tickets only grant access to the Main Grandstand (Gate M).
Paddock and VIP Tower Tickets allow access through all active gates (Tunnel, Gate M, and Gate 4).
CONSUMPTION, IMAGE COLLECTION, AND OTHER RULES
Check your ticket for details on these and other regulations.
At the Circuit entrances, security staff will process ticket validation electronically using barcode readers. The barcodes contain pre-registered information from ticket purchases, so spectators should carry personal identification at the entrance. Once inside, signage will guide spectators to their grandstand and allocated seat, with staff available to manage the flow.
Failure to follow staff instructions, visible intoxication, or inappropriate behavior that endangers the event and other spectators may result in removal from the venue, without ticket refund.
The WSBK organization does not allow professional image capture. Entry with cameras or video recorders with lenses exceeding 200mm, or any non-private-use video and sound recording devices, is prohibited.
You may bring your helmet to the grandstand. There is no official deposit or storage area for helmets. There is also no storage for equipment, so if you bring any, it is your responsibility to ensure its safekeeping.
Only small individual containers such as a bag, backpack, or purse are allowed.
As per authorities’ regulations and similar to other sports and entertainment events (football matches, for example), food and beverage entry is controlled. Only individual portions for personal consumption (e.g., one bottle, sandwich, fruit, snack) are allowed. For security reasons, authorities may require bottles to enter without caps.
There are several food and beverage points in the grandstands. Logistically, it is impossible to provide the same variety of food in all grandstands, but various options will be available.
MINORS’ ENTRY
According to Portuguese law, access to children under 3 years old is not allowed. The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in partnership with select sponsors, allows free entry to all minors under 16 years old. Admission is free upon obtaining a 100% discounted ticket. Each adult with a valid ticket may accompany one child.
Identification may be requested at the entrance by security to confirm age.
Without identification, a valid child ticket, and an accompanying adult with a valid ticket, entry will not be permitted.
